The rooms could have been cleaned better. It smelled a little like dog in our room and the sheets also smelled like dog. Breakfast was a major disappointment. It seemed unorganozed and small. The front desk checked us into a handicapped room, which I did not book.

The pros were the location and it was quiet. That's why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. I don't think I'll be staying here again.

First room 315 smelled like mildew. AC was off. Second room 314 had dirt on lightswitch. Bottom of shower curtain stained severely probably mold. I asked to change room on a Sunday. Valerie the manager refused to allow me to change rooms. Some rooms are great.

Very nice stay! Checking was speedy and polite, room was very large and super clean! Hard floors and no yucky carpet! I had my dog with me and the hotel is set on plenty of grounds to walk and sniff around. Great value stay!

My son and I took a trip to Norman. Seeing as Norman is a cute place, we picked this hotel off the photos, as the hotel had good reviews and all mentioned cleanliness.
Beware. The photos online look fantastic. What we found was the complete opposite. We were sent a text saying that if we needed anything, we could reply to the message. Those texts went unanswered. After some concern, I started to look around the room. The room had a musty old smell. This room had not been entered nor cleaned in who knows how long. I failed the get a photo of the carpet which was just covered in accumulated dust and what looked to be like pet hair. The shower stainless steel fixtures were rusted and the shower head leaked unless you forcefully turned the knob. I couldn’t consciously stay in this room with my son. So we left and had to go searching for a new hotel at 10pm at night. Incredibly inconvenient especially after an already long roadtrip. When we asked for a refund, the manager or whoever was at the front said “Oh yes that’s totally unacceptable” and just gave the refund right away. Or so I thought.

I got a call from the manager and they are telling me I actually stayed when the front desk CLEARLY HANDED ME A PRINT OUT THAT SAID MY CHECK IN WAS CANCELLED. THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEVES AND THEY TOOK MY MONEY.

Update 11/30- Wyndham did not in fact take care of the problem. The property told them lies about me and I still never got a refund for the dirty room and the two nights I NEVER STAYED THERE.

Update from my previous review below. I do not choose where I stay as this is paid for by a company for classes I have been taking. So my stay this time around was amazing! I was welcomed and apologized to at check in for the inconvenience of my first stay a couple of weeks ago. I was also left a letter in the room with water and a snack with an apology. This room was clean, quiet and comfortable! Thank you!

My room should have been cleaner. There were fingerprints on the faucet and mirror from whoever was in there before me. The white comfort had brown stuff on the bottom corner, and there were roaches in the bathroom. It was very loud in the hall and from the workers across the street on their forklifts and other machines.

My message to the manager after our nightmare of a stay.
Subject: Urgent: Unsanitary Conditions in Room 221

Dear Hotel Manager,

I checked into your hotel last night and was assigned room 221. While my husband took a shower, I began unpacking for the evening. To my shock, when I pulled back the blanket on the bed, I discovered blood stains on the bedding.

This is, without a doubt, the most appalling experience I have ever encountered at a hotel. Not only is this extremely unhygienic, but it also poses a significant public health risk. The presence of blood raises serious concerns about exposure to bloodborne pathogens, and I am deeply concerned for my husband’s and my safety.

I am grateful I did not have small children with me, as they might not have recognized the severity of the situation. However, this does not mitigate the seriousness of what occurred.

I expect to be contacted immediately with an explanation and a clear plan for how this matter will be addressed. Please understand that I take this issue very seriously and look forward to your prompt response.

Positive: The hotel was close to OU for our event there. The continental breakfast was great. Negative: The hotel facility needs repair. The TV in our room didn?t work. Since we stayed over the weekend there were no maint. staff to fix/replace it. The boiler went out on our last day there, so we were w/out hot water for a bit. The back door didn?t lock.

I’ve stayed at this hotel, two or three times and my experiences have always been pleasant. If you are looking for quietness, it is outside of the city, but has access to a mall and a Walmart and a couple of restaurants are close by. They do offer a breakfast as well, which is also nice if you are on the run.
