Hi I would like to say that it’s been an amazing experience very positive and helpful as well becoming a Patient for Dr. David Girard.
I have been his patient for over three years I would say. He put me on medications for anxiety and depression and after taking it for a while I feel as if i am a new person. I have not had an anxiety attack or felt bad about me anymore. I feel positive and happier I get along and communicate much better with my family.
I really recommend Dr Gerard I give him a 10 for the kind of work he does.
By the way he has me on: ESCITALOPRAM 20 mg and it works miracles for me.
He is a professional and explain to me that was I was having was something normal and he knew that he could help me.
His stuff people are so kind and friendly I like them. They take good care of me as well.

I have been a patient with David A. Girard, MD for over a year now. I am so impressed with how efficient his office is since it's so small! I was referred to him by a local radiologist group who I used to work for. I had been suffering from migraines since Fall 2021 and by January 2022 I knew I had to do something about it. After getting this referral, I was hopeful Dr. Girard would work with me to find some relief from this debilitating disease. Sure enough, Dr. Girard just did that; he was straight-to-the-point yet thoughtful and gentle at the same time. After a thorough assessment, he put me on Aimovig which I take once a month, I have been taking since March 2022 and have notice a significant improvement of my symptoms. His office staff are so nice and work like clock-work to help the overall running of the practice. I will note they do have only one phone line which can get busy, but if you get that and wait 5 mins and call back they will pick up. The only thing I wish is that he had a patient portal for messaging and viewing my past records; however his office staff is good about relaying messages to him. I had to ask them if he could fill out a form for my college that would allow him to get support services as well as an excusal note due to my migraines and they were on top of it. Dr. Girard even called me to discuss with me how to go about getting me the right support I need for my college education, I appreciate that so much as it shows how invested he is in his patients. Please note, the wait for becoming a new patient with him can be long, but he is worth the wait.

A case of foot drop. After visiting four highly recommended neurologists I decided to continue with Dr. David Girard. Neurologists in my case mostly relied on EMG results, but Dr. Girard looked at several different test results. He gives diagnosis based on each individual case considering all the facts and test results that he gathers without rushing to conclusion. Dr. Girard is very knowledgeable in his field and has a unique sincere approach to patients. I truly felt comfortable and confident that he was going to find the best way to help me, and he did. I can’t thank him enough.

I would like to say it was a positive experience and render an endorsement, but I cannot.

The only constructive assessment I can offer, is they do give referrals to several imaging centers who have compassionate pricing for cash/uninsured patients.

Beyond that I would suggest finding a Neurologist, who seems to be engaged and caring with respect to your condition and not someone you feel is collecting office fees for visits, then pushing you at the door leaving you insecure with the accuracy of their evaluation and assessments.

He has been excellent with my 14 year old daughter. Very straight forward, no bullsh** and we like that. He started her on the lowest dose possible of meds for her seizures and then cut that in half. He is not a Dr. that likes to over drug.
