I know Dr. Shantanu for 20 years now. He is extremely sincere and passionate about his profession. It is only his experience and outstanding support that every member in my family living a healthy life. My both parents are senior citizens, father being 80 plus. My father doesn't even need to consult any other doctor, all his medical needs are taken care by Dr. Shantanu. He not only provides good medical care but also provides honest advice on available options to ensure his patients get best available medical services. I will highly recommend this doctor.

The doctor never comes on time to his clinic..He doesn't know the importance of time of his patients.

My father was seen by this doctor to review his reports. The doctor checked his Oxygen (O2) level using the oximeter and it came around 75%. Doctor recommended oxygen administration in the nearby nursing home where he visits regularly. Father walked to the hospital and was administered O2. Within a few minutes, post-O2 administration father became unconscious and his partial pressure of carbon dioxide was 111 (normal range 38-42 mmHg). He was immediately taken to the hospital for ventilator mediated revival. After hoping hospitals he got ventilator support and was revived in 24 hrs. He was fine for 2-3 days then acquired ventilator mediated lung infection and then later put on Ventilator #2 and could not bear it anymore and passed away. In just 5 days a fairly ok man passed away-family is left in shock and the pain is left forever. This is a case of sheer negligence: 1) Doctor not sure how much O2 was administered; 2) Doctor not present when father became unconscious in hospital #1 and taken in an ambulance for another hospital.
