Doctor Purpura has been a terrific person to work with and has always had a ‘total wellness’ approach. The MDVIP program has given him better tools with which to achieve this.
I do wish there was a MDVIP practice in the Lubbock area so I could refer some family there.

After 7 years I now feel that it’s not so much for the patient as it is the money. I had went through a life situation and this was the first and only time I didn’t have insurance. I received a large bill for blood work and I set up payments as required of me. Then at some point while I was in the process of moving, the auto draft stopped. I didn’t know till I got a letter saying that I had been dropped as his patient. I immediately started up auto draft again, now it’s almost paid off. I called Dr. Purpura’s office asking them to have that retracted because I’ve been paying on it and they refused. The secretary didn’t even discuss it with him. It was a blatant no.

I would give zero stars if I could. This so called Cracker Jack box doctor has misdiagnosed numerous patients, even leading to their deaths. He is horrible. The worst doctor ever. If you plan on staying alive and well, go somewhere else. One word. Four letters. J.O.K.E. That’s exactly what he is.

Rude receptionist! I called to see if Dr. Was taking new patients, but the lady who answered tge phine seemed rushed and rude so I decided to end the call and choose a different primary physician. So sad that 1 rude person coukd lose someone 2 potential new patients! I'll take my business and money elsewhere thank you!

He does not LISTEN to his patients. He is not thorough with his patients that depend on him with their life. I would suggest seeking medical attention from some one else who will listen

Patient for 12 years, finally wised up and found a real Dr. All he is good for is prescribing medications and not very good about THAT. Help is rude and don't do their job most of the time..
