Dr Funk and his staff are awesome! He found the crack in my hip when all others said it was fine, that the pain would go away. He's genuinely concerned for all his patients. And you see that in his bedside manner. Getting him to stay in the exam room for more than 10-15 mins is difficult due to the demands of the hundreds of patients he has, but he's worth the wait! Thank you Dr Funk for saving my life!

Had left knee, then right knee and wife's and bonus daughter's knees repaired by Dr. Funk, and could not have had better care anywhere else! Dr. Funk is an outstanding expert in his field, direct and professional as well as personable, and I highly recommend him to anyone with any Orthopedic problem. No need to keep limping around on painful knee. Dr. Funk's staff works with people on getting the most affordable testing and health care in Abilene.

Have had 5 knee surgeries and Dr. Funk is the only one to ever get it right!! 4 by other orthopedic doctors, never fixed. 1 by Dr. Funk 10 years ago and still good to go.

He is so rough and has no care for how much pain you’re in, much less the stress and anxiety of the pain you know you’re about to go through. He rushes and just wants you to get out of the office. Seeing a dr walking in with a ball cap backwards should of been the first clue. The worst bedside manner I have ever witnessed.
