Needed assistance with lifting a patient while a bunch of the staff just stood around and watched. While lifting this patient some lady said "we can't lift because we had surgery" but did nothing to find someone that could. Then proceeded to complain about how my employer did someone to lift this patient or even assist in lifting this patient.

Real nurses would've helped the best they could and not complained. When I find out the name of this person that only talked instead of helping I will update this review and put them on blast every where that I can.

I highly recommend you seek out another location for your pain management. You are nothing more than a paycheck to this office and they have ZERO care for their patients. This clinic created a hematoma that almost paralyzed me! When I called for help, they did nothing for me. All they want to do is stick you with a steroid and collect a check. Absolutely NO care for their patient's actual health. Here are the facts: I went in for an epidural steroid injection at 8:30. After getting home around 10:00, I noticed some pain in my upper shoulders. I referred to the patient discharge sheet and tried a heat pad, but the pain only got worse. At 10:41, I called and talked to one of the doctors, whom I told that I was in excruciating pain from my mid-torso to neck and down to my elbows. I was told that this pain is not abnormal and they would write me a script for gabapentin. I had my wife leave and go directly to Market street to get this wonder drug that was going to fix my pain. When my wife arrived at Market Street, they told her that the script hadn't been called in yet. I immediately called Dr. Dozier's office again, and it went straight to voice mail. I called another 21 more times between 11:30 and 1:09, when I finally got ahold of someone and told them I am going to the ER. I asked them why no one answered the phone, they told me they shut the phones off every day between 11:30 and 1:00 for lunch. Quite frankly, this is the dumbest management decision I have ever heard in my entire life! I also found out that the doctor didn't call in the Gabapentin prescription in until after 3:00 that day.
After getting to the ER, I got real medical care and they treated my pain and performed an MRI. The MRI showed a hematoma in my neck that was pinching my spine. Thank the good Lord for the medical team at Hendricks that rushed me into the OR. The quick actions of the Hendricks team literally saved me from life long paralysis.
I know hematomas are a risk of the process, but according to several medical doctors that I have spoken to, several things could have helped prevent this. Dr. Dozier should have told me to stop taking the 1000mg of Naproxen I was taking every day, and the doctor I spoke to at 10:41 should have given me a private line to continue to treat me give the situation or directed me straight to the ER.

Dr. Dozier and his PA Jenny understands the cause of my pain and has developed a treatment plan to help relieve the pain to provide relief so I can have some normalcy in my life. I'm looking forward to my first injection.

I will never go back! In April I went for ESI's. I tried to tell DR Dozier I didn't get enough anesthesia but was ignored. I was held down on the table and given inj. I was litterly so sore and incompassatated for several days I ended up in the hospital. Old vertebral fx were aggravated severely. I reported this to his office, the nurses were excellent. Dr Dozier never called or offered any apology. I'll never go back!!!

When we moved to Abilene, I needed to find a local pain management specialist. Mr prior doctor was good, but didn’t leave me with much optimism regarding management of my pain. I am so thankful I found Dr Dozier. He took the time to listen and look through my records. I didn’t feel rushed, nor did I feel like he was reciting the same plan of treatment he had given the patient(s) before me. I left his office knowing he was vested in helping me. That was in 2014. We moved again in 2017 and finding another doctor was not even a consideration. The 2 hr drive is a small price to pay for measurable relief and optimism. He and his staff are awesome.

If you're looking for someone to listen to what you want and execute it perfectly, Dr Dozier and his team is for you! He is patient, listens, and understands. There is a positive energy in the air at the provider’s office. The available appointments work well with my busy schedule. The office is organization remains consistent in my treatment, and office is always clean. Dr Dozier has blown me away with his attention to details. If I have any questions or concerns, Dr Dozier has answers! I’ve gone to a different doctor for the same concerns and my results don’t compare here. I actually get treatments that work.

While Dr. Dozier is friendly and knowledgeable, his staff that are in the clinic take no time to ask if a patient or their families have any questions.

I wish I’d have read these reviews before going. Try to find an office whose staff is courteous and has the decency to ask the patient if they have questions about the treatment.
