Told me she closed her practice in December last year promising me with another witness 6 months of refills of my scripts. Not only did she not do this but knew I was House bound and how difficult it was for me to find another provider. I did not receive good care at all and seeing this website makes me wonder if she still practices? Awful. I am so very disappointed at the care I received.

Hands down absolutley love Dr. MIKIEL.. She not only communicates with you but she breaks it down to make sure you understand. I recently switch to this office because thw one I was at could not give me answers to health issues i was excperiencing and within the 1st 2 visits with Dr. Mikiel I had a diagnosis and a new health plan. I woukd recommend her to everyone.

Waited 2 months for an appointment to establish care. Showed up to appointment and was told it needs to be rescheduled due to not bringing medication bottles in even tho all medical records were brought in. I was never told when making the appointment to bring in any medication bottles. Also while sitting in the lobby another patient was complaining about waiting over an hour for a prescription. They also had another patient contact their insurance company from the lobby. Without providing privacy for them. I myself am a nurse and have never seen nor had a terrible experience as this. I do not recommend this doctors office at all. Poor communication resulting in time wasted.

I have not actually been seen by this doctor, but I couldn't find a doctor that accepts my insurance and, finally my insurance company referred me to this office. So far, the front desk has been very helpful. After my experience so far with doctor's offices in Abilene, I was reminded of the importance of the front desk and this office made my appointment for November, however they already called me because they had a cancellation. It may sound like no big deal, but for me, that's huge. I asked them this morning to keep me in mind, but didn't expect it to be so quick, or at all! I hope the ladies at the front desk are a sign of how the doctor treats her patients. I was to the point of going back to San Antonio just to get medical care because it's been that hard to find.

two times being rescheduled..... 1st time was sent paper work in the mail and I filled it out. I was told on the phone that giving them my husband's social they could look are insurance up online which we have tricare. Did not say anything about needing my military ID in person at the apt. and that it would be fine if my mother brought my girls in since I worked full time and could not get off to take them and my husband is deployed overseas. My mother gets to the appointment with all the paper work filled out and they will not see my kids because of needing my military ID. That was not said on the phone. So rescheduling another two months out and taking off of work I take my girls again .they said try to be there 30 mins before appointment to fill out paperwork. Well with road closures and construction going on I got there at 10:40 also not to mention my mother drives all the way from anson just for them to tell me we will have to reschedule since I didn't get there right at 10:30 which they never said my child would not be seen if I was a little late. I also explained it would not take me 20 mins. to fill all of it out but they did not care they automatically just started writing out a card for a new appointment which I said I most likely will not be able to make because taking off work is not easy and my daughter just missed school to not even be seen. They just had big smiles on there face and when walking off both receptionist were laughing. Not once said sorry for the inconvenience or showed any type of compassion..can't really say to much about the doctor since never seen her but the office is a joke and could care less about the patients. Just saying any family that is involved with the military and having there loved one overseas knows the struggle it can be and trying to find a new physician to see your children shouldn't be this complicated.

Worst Dr I have ever had. Dr. Mikiel is very unprofessional. She is arrogant, rude, and doesn't pay attention. She missed diagnosed me gave me meds that I did not need to be on. She curses in front of patients. She yells at patients. Her nurse is rude as well. Worst experience ever. She never sent me to any of the specialist I needed to see. I supprised she even has patients. She will be little you.

If I could list ZERO stars, I would GLADLY. WORST doctor in Abilene, she should take a look at herself before talking down educated and INSURED PAYING patients. Doctors are meant to LISTEN, CARE, implement treatment plans...NOT pass judgement on their patients personal lives or financial situations. I would recommend that NO ONE EVER seek her medical care. I would HIGHLY recommend Abilene Regional related doctors, at least they care about their jobs and patients.
