Dr. Artz has not only restored the hearing I lost, my hearing is the best it has ever been.
With something as delicate as the middle ear, trust is rather important. My experience was so incredible that trusting him with something that could make or break my career was never an issue.
Dr. Artz explained everything, listened to my concerns, and knew how to calm any fears I had prior to and after surgery.

I have seen Dr. Artz for about 5 years. I am very happy to have him as my ENT doctor. He is personable, thoughtful, keeps me informed, and I believe is an excellent doctor. I have also had very good experiences with the audiologists, who explain the tests and results and are very accommodating when I need an appointment.
Sincerely,
Marjorie Hoyme

I'm sorry to review this doctor practice because as doctor he's was ok, but his department at Jefferson is an administrative nightmare. My son see Dr. Artz for hearing loss. When we started I though I finally found a good ENT to help with my son's hearing issues, and at first we did. My son needs to see an ENT every 6 months, we saw the doctor twice. After each visit I made the next appointment. On our third appointment, I received a letter stating the doctor needed to reschedule, so we did. Two months later, we received another letter stating AGAIN they need to reschedule, AGAIN we did. Finally on the day of the we come in for this appointment, we were told the appointment was canceled and the doctor would not be able to see him today. No one called us to canceled, no letter stating it was canceled. They did offer to have us wait for 2 hours for Dr. Artz to be done his meeting....so my son and I should miss two hours of work, he doesn't get paid if he misses. I guess our time is not important to this office. I told them no we won't wait and we won't be rescheduling....time to look for another ENT.
