Das neu von Howard Johnson übernommene Hotel hat uns positiv überrascht. Der fünftägige Aufenthalt war einfach nur Erholung pur. Tolle Strände mit kompletter Infrastruktur (Duschen, Toiletten, Picnic-Areas, etc.) in 15 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Sämtliche Einkaufsmögichkeiten (Mall, Lebensmittel, etc.) in unmittelbarer Nähe. Nach Downtown San Diego max. 10 Minuten über die Interstate 5.||Sehr große, saubere und helle Zimmer, riesiges Bett, Schlafsofa, Bad mit Wanne + WC, separater Waschtisch in Nische, großer Kleiderschrank, ausreichend Platz für die Koffer. Ruhige Klimaanlage, praktische Küchemnzeile mit Herd, Backofen, Spüle und Kühlschrank, allerdings keine Utensilien wie Töpfe, Pfannen oder Geschirr und Besteck. Kleines Frühstück wird in der Lobby angeboten. Ausreichend Parkplätze, auch auf abgeschlossenem Grundstück sind vorhanden. Sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal!

This hotel experience was very outstanding. The customer service was on the dot. The receptionist was one of the kindest person I ever talked to, he was very helpful. When I got to my room I saw the room was very clean and cozy, the microwave fridge and the stove were all working perfectly fine. The bed was nice and cozy. The floor was nice and spotless. I didn’t see any visible stains anywhere, me and my friend booked this hotel rooms together and both of us agreed this hotel was one of the coziest hotel rooms we had in a while. You guys can definitely see me coming back.

I LOVE FIRST OFF HOW THE HOTEL IS CONVENIENTLY LOCATED!! Stores laundry mat gas station several restaurants car wash and surrounded by public transportation! Check wasn’t until 3pm so I sat in the car waiting once it was time I was greeted by MR MIKE who had nothing but AMAZING customer service along with the ALL of the staff. Mike made me feel welcome .the room was super clean the bed was so comfy My experience to say the least was nothing short of EXCELLENT I LOVED IT THANK YOU

We had a wonderful stay. The room was clean and inviting. Mike from the front desk warmly greeted us and provided exceptional assistance! He was very friendly and helpful. We weren’t familiar with the area and he recommend local places to eat after we checked out. Thank you, Mike!

I called at 12am because I was unable to make a reservation online. The gentleman was rude when he answered the phone the 1st time. I hung up.
I had to call again, he never picked up the phone & did not even say hello.
He just said " I can here you" .... I told him how rude he was and asked for his name. He said "RAUL" when I said would call his manager. He said okay, i dont care.
It was clear that he didn't care!
I can't blame HJ because they don't always know what happens when the main managers are gone.
But check ur surveillance cameras during these time frame.
I wouldn't hire "Raul" to scrape gum much less handle customer service.
"Raul" find yourself a different job, because it's nobodies fault your bitter!

I was kinda worried about the hotel after reviews I read, but I stayed here for a weekend trip. Location wasn’t too bad and there were a lot of food options around. The room was cool; had a kitchenette and fridge. I did see one roach but it isn’t as bad. Overall, it’s a good deal and a good hotel for the price! Would recommend. Service was great! There is a $100 deposit required though. Shoutout to Mike he was friendly!!

Mike C, the front desk clerk, was amazing. He truly takes his job as a travel professional seriously… more a calling than a job. He went way (way way) above and beyond to make my family feel comfortable. Unfortunately, the facility itself is sketchy. I hope they really value Mike and compensate him appropriately for his hospitality skills.

I was traveling solo and stayed at the hotel. It was a comfortable stay and provided me with more than everything I needed for a good nights rest. I only brought a backpack on my trip, but the size of the rooms and kitchen really shocked me for the price I was paying.
